a fault diagnosis platform for Radar circuit is developed here based on the PXI & GPIB Hybrid Bus and virtual instrument technology. Alongwith it a
fuzzy fault tree reasoning algorithm is also described. The platform has two main parts namely hardware and software. The hardware part again is built-in controller and 3 kind of virtual instruments namely digital storage oscilloscope,
digital multimeter and a spectrum analyzer.a fuzzy fault tree reasoning algorithm is used for constructing the software. an
expert knowledge database containing almost 198 fault tree flow
charts of 20-style Radars is also a part of the software system . The simulations and analysis shows that the platform can locate the Radar circuit fault effectively. Virtual instruments are
used to test the frequency, amplitude and waveform of
signals generated by Radar circuit, power supply voltage and
current, as well as the resistance impedance.

Hardware: This part is is built with PXI chassis, built-in controller, 3 kind of virtual instruments which are digital storage oscilloscope, digital multimeter and spectrum analyzer.

Hardware composing
A DSO digital storage oscilloscope PXI-TE6100, a DMM PXI-SM2040 and spectrum analyzer AV4032 in the range 26.5Ghz make up the hardware platform
