PRIVILEDGE BASED ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM FOR I/O
ABSTRACT:
We propose a privilege based access control system for IO device to improve the security system of the Hardware I/O devices. Centralized hardware equipment will be shared by multiple users on provided privileges. The user will be allowed to access only on the available privileges to him, which is assigned by the administrator.

WORKING:
The project and implimentation is Privilege based access control system for IO we can switch the device based on the administrator control with 8052 micro controller, keyboard and relays.
Microcontroller used is AT89C51/52. The code is written in the internal memory of Microcontroller i.e. RAM. With help of instruction set it processes the instructions and it acts as interface between keyboard and IO devices. The main working of this system is same as personal computer. In PC only administrator has all authorities like as creating user, creating password and all. If administrator gives authority then only user can work. So here also we have to write software to microcontroller like as, administrator have all access facility like as creating user account and creating password or deleting all this. In this system nearly four devices are interfaced but the accessing these devices are different to each user and administrator. Administrator only can switch on or off all devices, but each user can on or off only one device. If he wants to access other device it will be access denied. This will used in security purpose so all control will be on administrator only.
Administrator can -Creating user,Deleting user,Change Password, Lock the User ,Set the privilege for user.User can:Control the devices which is assign by administrator.

Microcontroller - AT89C51/52Atmel
Crystal - 11.0592MHz
Keyboard
IO devices - any devices
Relays
